Plaiting for fashion.

*Consultation, start by looking for what hair type, thin thick, dry or damaged before doing a blow-dry to know what heat you should be using. Type of hair will depend on what products you can use.
Step by steps.

5 strand braid-

  • Hair must be in five section
  • Place there in one hair and two in the other
  • with the 3 sections, start a normal plait and plait once and stop.
  • Then with the hand with two section in, introduce a hair by going over the first section and the under from the 3 sections you just plaited.
  • You are then left with three sections in the opposite hands.
  • Continue process.

Dutch Braid
  • This is like a french plait.
  • Start by creating 3 sections.
  • When beginning to plait you usually go over, but this time you plait under.
  • Take sections going down through the hair like a french plait but plait the sections under not over.

Wiggle plait-

  • Plait hair like a normal plait, but not too tightly.
  • When you finish take the shortest section in the plait and pull the other too up.
  • This creates the wiggle.

Waterfall-
  • Start with a french plait.
  • After you've done the first plait leave the section on the right and then continue as normal
  • Everytime leaving the section of the plait on the right and carry on throughout creating a waterfall effect.
